Why Church of New Beginnings? We believe that in Christ we can all have a New Beginning. No matter who you are or what you have done you can always find hope through the love of Jesus Christ. Without trying to clean yourself up or be a better person He meets you right where you are and then He does the work!!

Our Mission
The mission of the Church of the Nazarene is to love God, love others and make Christ-like disciples.
Our Core Values
We are a Christian People. We are members of the Church Universal and join with all true believers in proclaiming the Lordship of Jesus Christ and in embracing the historic Trinitarian creedal statements of the Christian faith. We value our Wesleyan-Holiness heritage.
We are a Holiness People
God, who is holy, calls us to a life of holiness. We believe that the Holy Spirit, through a second work of grace, cleanses us from all sin, renews us in the image of God, empowers us to love God with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength, and our neighbors as ourselves, and produces in us the character of Christ.
We are a Missional People
We are a people called by Christ and sent by the Holy Spirit to proclaim Christ around the world. Our mission begins in worship, ministers in evangelism and compassion, encourages believers toward Christian maturity through discipleship, and prepares women and men for Christian service through Christian higher education.
OUR PASTOR
REVEREND ADAM C. JOHNSON
Pastor Adam has held a love for the Lord and a love for people from a very young age. Having been born with Duchenne muscular dystrophy has not deterred him from following the path the Lord has put before him.
After graduating from the Beaver County Christian School in 2005, he went on to study and graduate from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University in 2009 with a degree in pastoral ministry. After college, Pastor Adam accepted a position as associate pastor at the Church of the Nazarene in Lisbon, Ohio. Not long after, Senator Elder Vogel invited Pastor Adam to be the guest chaplain and to open the senate floor with prayer at the state capitol in Harrisburg, PA.
In 2011, the Nazarene Church had sat empty for a year and the district was contemplating selling the property. The Lord gave Pastor Adam the vision of a church that Biblical, yet relevent to our times. His vision is to make the church a beacon on the hill of Monaca Heights to all imperfect people. He believes in running toward people with problems and showing them God’s perfect answers.
Typical of Pastor Adam’s heart for the community, in 2016 he also became the chaplain for Monaca Volunteer Fire Department #5.
AMBER JOHNSONIn 2016, Pastor Adam and Amber became husband and wife. Amber immediately took on the role of pastor’s wife and proudly support’s Pastor Adam and his ministry in any way she can.
“Miss Amber” has a genuine love for children and teaches Sunday School and does all she can to gently guide the children to the Lord, so that they can go on to live a successful life and find all that our God has for them, both on this earth and for eternity.

Calendar & Events
This year our church is reaching out to several families that we are thankful for. What a better time than Thanksgiving to let them know they’re loved and appreciated.
We’re supplying a turkey, a pie and all the fixings for them to prepare a wonderful meal for their families and maybe invite a friend or two.

On Saturday December 2nd our church will be participating in the Monaca Hometown Christmas. This event is from 5-7:30 and will feature a Christmas parade. Church of new beginnings will also have a table set up and will have a craft the children can make. Come and check it out at the Monaca borough building, can’t wait to see you.
Ladies Of Royalty – Last Saturday of each month @ 1 PM. This Is a time of Bible study and fellowship for women’s ministry This ministry is on break until January.
